Overview

The eCommerce Marketing Manager will lead our digital marketing and website content efforts to drive traffic, engagement and sales on our ecommerce platform, while supporting total company branding and marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for setting website traffic goals, overseeing the website content strategy, analyzing marketing campaign performance metrics, and collaborating with cross functional teams to achieve business objectives.  

 

The salary range for this role is $106,000-$143,000 annually.

Responsibilities

  • Define website traffic goals to support our eCommerce sales objectives and advocate cross-functionally for tactics and initiatives that will hit these goals.
  • Plan and oversee implementation of eCommerce-only channel marketing strategies including search engine optimization (SEO) and affiliate marketing.
    • Act as the main advocate for SEO best practices cross-functionally, ensuring that changes in marketing and user experience don’t negatively impact SEO rankings.
    • Identify strategic opportunities to use the affiliate channel to generate qualified, brand-relevent content on 3rd party sites.
  • Create on-site marketing campaign strategy by partnering with the brand and content teams to support total company messaging strategy for both evergreen and seasonal campaigns.
  • Partner with User Experience team to ensure that marketing strategies are executed in a way that optimizes the customer journey.
  • Lead the website personalization strategy through the development of website segments and messaging strategies that tailor our marketing content based on user behavior, preferences and demographics.
  • Develop a content strategy for the eCommerce platform, including blog posts, articles and multimedia content.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and cross-functional teamwork, working closely with design, development, user experience, marketing and merchandising teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.
  • Provide leadership and development to a team including SEO/affiliate, content writing, and content strategy.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, creative, writing, communications, or other related field.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing related experience, with a proven track record of driving eCommerce results.
  • 2-3 years of successful management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of search engine optimization and affiliate marketing channels.
  • Hands on experience with eCommerce platforms such as Hybris, Magento, Shopify, etc.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics or other eCommerce analytics platform.
  • Advanced understanding of personalization software and how it integrates with eCommerce platforms.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a plus.

Work Environment

The primary environment for this role is a combination of an open office and a remote workplace. Considerable business is conducted using the telephone and computer technology. This role is expected to be on-site in Home Office at least 1 day per week on an ongoing basis. Note that all hybrid and remote work conditions are covered in the Company’s current Remote Work Policy and Remote Work Agreement, incorporated here by reference. Travel may be required to stores, conferences or events up to 5% of the time.

The salary range for this role is $106,000-$143,000 annually. The range describes the minimum to maximum likely rate for this job description in the state of Colorado. Individual pay will be determined based on skills and qualifications for the role. The salary range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of Colorado.
