Overview
The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for the strategic development, planning, execution, and optimization of paid social media campaigns across, but not limited to, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, and Reddit. This role is integral in driving paid social advertising performance marketing initiatives to achieve organizational objectives related to brand awareness and direct response, with the goal of increasing traffic and revenue in support of the ShaneCo.com and B&M stores across numerous markets.
The Senior Social Media Manager shall also be responsible for budget pacing, testing, creative performance reporting, campaign trafficking and social community management.
Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Planning
• Develop and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies that align with overarching
marketing goals to support ShaneCo.com and multiple B&M markets across top, mid, and bottom funnel
objectives.
• Manage social media budget allocation and pacing to maximize return on advertising and achieve key
performance indicators based on campaign objectives and place in the funnel.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, content, and media team, to ensure cohesive
and effective campaigns.
Campaign Management & Execution
• Oversee end-to-end advertising campaign processes, including planning, setup, execution, monitoring,
optimization, and reporting inside ad platforms.
• Oversee social media trafficking, ensuring the precise implementation of campaigns.
• Manage hyper segmented campaigns numbering up to 48 per platform.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
• Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, derive insights, and recommend optimization
strategies.
• Generate regular performance reports, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Proficiency in social media analytics tools, MTA analytics software and MMM reports.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
• Supervise social community management efforts, maintaining a consistent brand voice and engagement.
• Supervise and mentor direct report, Digital Media Coordinator. Offering guidance and support for their
professional development.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, account reps, and partners, as required.
Industry Trends & Compliance
• Remain current with industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media advertising.
• Abide by the specific policies and procedures of digital advertising, including CCPA, and other future
requirements surrounding PII protection.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, etc.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in managing paid social media campaigns, ideally within an
agency setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager, encompassing campaign setup,
optimization, and reporting for enterprise level B2C clients.
• Platform certifications (e.g., Meta Certified Media Buying Professional) are highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of social media marketing principles, best practices, and current trends.
• Proven ability to achieve measurable results through paid social media campaigns.
• Experience managing hyper segmented campaigns numbering up to 48 per platform.
• Advanced analytical skills with the capacity to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in social media analytics tools, MTA analytics software and MMM reports.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
concurrently.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in managing and mentoring team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
• Experience in eCommerce and/or retail is advantageous.

Work Environment
The primary environment for this role is a combination of an open office and a remote workplace. Considerable business is conducted using the telephone and computer technology. This role is expected to be on-site in Home Office one day per week on an ongoing basis. Travel may be required to stores, conferences or events up to 10% of the time.

Base Pay range for this role is $101,000-$131,000 per year, which applies to this specific role. Your placement in the range is determined through interviews, a review of experience, knowledge, skills, balanced pay with other team members and alignment with geographic market data. Home office base pay ranges are based on the Denver market. We target most new hire offers toward the lower end of the listed range, but more demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills may result in a higher starting rate.
Beyond Base Pay: Home office positions are eligible for consideration for an annual bonus, based on total company performance. Amounts vary by role and are based on a percentage of eligible earnings for the fiscal year (starting at 2%).
